K3 1:8 scale Stock Car Bodyshell

K3 1:8 scale Stock Car Bodyshell from Kamtec !!  Known as Kamtec K3 .  Designed to be a reasonably scale version of a modern F1 V8 Stock Car. Launched at the 1:8 World Stock Car Final at Notts and Derby to very good reviews. First shown to the public the week before at the Full Size World Final when it was unsignwritten . Went down very well in the pits at Coventry Stadium with Frankie Wainman Jr - see pic. The body is not a strict replica but its clear to see that it is based on Jr's tarmac car. The wing in the pic will soon be in production and sold seperately. Since the pictures a small bulge has been added on the bonnet to create some servo saver clearance . The drivers commented it needed to be run low as in the pics above to look scale. You can see the servo saver is peeping through a hole to achieve the bonnet height. This wont need to be done. Soon to be made with side exhaust bulges . This sale is for a body shell only , moulded in thick white ABS plastic ready to be cut out and painted. If you are unaware of the work involved with this product please seek advice as they need a fair bit of expert fitting. The complete car is for refeence and to show the finished product. This ABS shell has be designed to fit a Mardave , Kingsway or Pole chassis and should fit scratch built chassis and utalise their standard mounts .
