6mm Shim Set - SPR004

A set of 6mm shims is very useful for your bike. The normal requirements for shimming are:

Rear swingarm – a 0.3mm shim each side of the swingarm to prevent it dragging on the chassis plates.

Front pulley – a 0.3mm shim behind the pulley to prevent it dragging on the chassis plate.

Rear axle – 0.2 – 04.mm of shims to take up any float – I normally start at 0.2mm and add more shims if needed.

Front axle – 0.1-0.2mm of shims to take up any float.

We normally use the 3Racing shim sets.
